FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Robyn Lyvonne Cake Design is an appointment only cake studio serving the Northwest Georgia area.
We suggest reading through these FAQs and policies before making an order.
I use only the highest quality ingredients-French and Belgian chocolate, real vanilla, European style butter and fresh seasonal fruits.
All cakes and buttercream are butter based, I do not use shortening.
I know fondant isn’t always a favorite, but I use a high quality fondant, as well as a chocolate based fondant that does taste good!
WEDDING CAKE PRICING
Since each cake is custom designed, there are no set prices. There is a minimum order of $500.
A single tier 6 inch cutting cake is available for $60.
Fondant covered cakes start at $8.00 per serving
Buttercream cakes start at $7.00 per serving.
Starting prices are for basic design and minimal decoration. The final price is determined by the complexity of the design and the addition of handmade items, i.e., flowers, bows, figures, etc.
Fresh flowers are welcome, but must be provided by your florist.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
A 50% non-fundable deposit is required at the time of booking along with a signed contract to officially book your wedding date. All dates are considered open until these items are completed.
Remaining 50% is due 6 weeks prior to wedding date. There is a strict NO REFUND policy, so please adhere to your payment schedule.
Wedding season can book up quickly, so please contact me as soon as you have your event date to check availability.I only accept a limited number of cakes per week, so I can fully concentrate on each order.
Tastings are available for pick up for you to enjoy at home. Please email at [email protected] to schedule or make an inquiry.
Tastings are $45 (pre-paid) and include 4 mini cakes of your choice. Please allow the cakes to sit at room temperature at least 30 mins before eating.
SET-UP AND DELIVERY
Wedding cake delivery and set up starts at $25 within a 15 mile radius of our kitchen, and is $2.00 per mile after that.
CELEBRATION AND SCULPTED OR 3D CAKES
Single tier starts at $50
Tiered cakes start at $150 (minimum 15-20 servings)
Cake prices will increase depending on complexity and design. The starting price reflects a simple buttercream design.
3D and Sculpted start at $300 regardless of servings. There may be a deposit required for the inner structure supports in a 3D cake.
Payment is due at time of order. Pick up is scheduled at the customer’s convenience when the order is placed.
Once the cake is picked up by the client or a designated party, it is considered “accepted.” All responsibility for the cake is the customer’s once it leaves the premises.
Since cakes are butter based and can melt easily, please do not leave them in hot cars or in direct sunlight. Even a few moments can cause a disaster.
However, to enjoy your cake at its best, you should set the cake out in a cool place at least 1 hour prior to eating to allow the cake to soften and the flavors to meld.
